Since 1973
Some places change their name. The good ones keep their soul.
Opened in 1973 as Motto, independent since 2013, Thell since 2023. In between lies half a century of Viennese nightlife – and Franz Thell, whose name the house carries today. Tom Sampl has owned it since 2013. Only the name is new.
